lacto peel

Chemical peel for professionals with high content of lactic acid, sodium lactate, and buffered to a pH of 3.

Lactic acid is naturally found in the skin as part of a metabolic process and helps maintain the pH of the acid mantle between 5.5 and 6.0. It also moisturizes the skin by attracting water molecules to the stratum corneum and stimulating the synthesis of ceramides, improving and modulating the barrier function. It is also known as a skin-lightening agent, as it induces homogeneous melanin dispersion. Furthermore, it has antioxidant effects on the skin and inhibits the action of tyrosinase, an enzyme that participates in the first stages of melanogenesis.

Designed to restore the natural skin pH gradient. Active exfoliating enzymes to renew the skin gradually. Increase the overall skin radiance. Highly restores skin moisture. Improves the skin radiance.

How to use:

Thoroughly cleanse and degrease the skin and protect sensitive areas. Next, apply the peel using a brush beginning with resistant areas on the face and moving toward the most sensitive ones (forehead, cheeks, submaxillary region, chin, upper lip, and nose).

Allow to act for 3 minutes or until reaching the desired point, mild redness with no flaking. After this time, and to prevent the peel from continuing its actions and penetrating the skin, neutralize it with the carboxy neutralizer and wash the area of application with plenty of cold water.

After applying the peel, the areas may be warm to the touch or erythemas may appear. Should this occur, further neutralization is needed. If the peel has been applied to more than three areas simultaneously, we recommend neutralizing them all.

Upon the application of the peel, a stinging sensation may be experienced by the patient, which will disappear in few minutes.

Complete the treatment by applying a repair cream. Avoid sun exposure for the next 12 hours after the peel. The next day’s apply the all-day shield during the day and the repair cream at night.
